Food flasks
Vacuum flasks for food were first introduced in the early 1920s by Thermos. Equally designed for keeping food hot or cold, they are ideal for school or work lunches or for picnics.
Early ones were coated in aluminium with aluminum lids or bowls to eat from. By the sixties, Thermos were using stainless steel and the aluminium bowls were being replaced by hardened plastic.
