Delivery and returns

All our parcels are shipped by Royal Mail Tracked 48 as we believe tha is the safest way to get your order to you. If your order is exceptionally large then we reserve the right to use other carriers.

If you have requested next day delivery before 4pm, then your parcel will go out the following morning by DHL or Royal Mail Special Delivery depending on its size.

Your order will generally be dispatched within 24 hours of receipt and shipped according to the size and weight of the package.

Items such as coffee grinders, marmalade slicers and other mechanical devices will be polished and sharpened to order in our workshop. If this is the case then you will receive a 'preparation in progress' notification.

We charge a standard delivery charge of £6.95 for UK mainland delivery for all orders, irrespective of size or weight. If you need your items quicker, DHL and Royal Mail Special Delivery offer an overnight service for Monday to Friday deliveries.

Shipping fees include handling and packing fees as well as postage or courier costs. Your package will be dispatched at your own risk, but special care is taken to protect fragile objects.

Under the Consumer Rights Act your consumer rights entitle you to cancel an order within 14 days of receipt. This includes the delivery charge, but not the cost of returning it. You have a further 14 days to return the item.

Any additional shipping charges made at your request, such as 24 hour courier or overseas shipping is not included: Only the standard £6.95 will be refunded.

Should you in any way be unhappy with your purchase, we will endeavour to rectify the situation as soon as possible.
