Mixing Bowls
Yellow ware mixing bowls have been stalwarts of the traditional kitchen for more than a 100 years. Most of ours are from the 1920s onwards and many were made by T G Green in their Church Gresley factory famed for vintage Cornishware.
The company developed the revolutionary Gripstand design which meant bowls could be tipped on their sides for beating purposes and wouldn't slip on the table !
Post war Britain saw bowls with brightly coloured insides and graduated multi-coloured sets are great as serving bowls for a buffet for loads of guests.
We have vintage bowls for the smallest batter to the largest cake !
