Ladles
Enamel ladles are great for serving and pouring. Available in most colours, the bright funky ones are firm sixties favourites. Use the same shape and add a few holes and you have a strainer. For more strainers try our Strainers & separators range.
By the forties, aluminium had made an appearance made an appearance, with early Skyline ones coming in cast aluminium with lovely green handles with cream bands.
By the late fifties Skyline were producing their ladles in chrome with cream handles and green bands being the most popular. They formed part of a which range of utensils which could also be purchased in sets.
The sixties saw the return of enamel with Habitat importing colourful ones from Poland and Skyline and Prestige moving towards stainless steel with rosewood or teak handles.
