Rolling pins

Whoever said that a rolling pin was just a rolling pin should look a little further at our vintage collection.

Polished wood with turned handles or integral ones suit a Victorian style kitchen, whilst brightly coloured handles are great in any mid-century kitchen,

Nutbrown introduced ceramic pins that were nice and cold for rolling out pastry. With their brightly coloured handles they match the rest of the utensils range that we stock.

Serious pastry makers like fillable rolling pins so that iced-water keeps the pastry at low, low temperatures. Pyrex are favourites, but we have some great 1950s plastic ones, too. For small pastry jobs, try a dough roller with a wire or steel handle.

Starting your youngsters early on baking ? Don't leave them out, get them a lovely child-sized pin !
