Glass moulds
Glass jelly moulds started to appear during the inter-war period and many were heavily influenced by popular geometric shapes. Some of them simply replicated the castellated or fluted designs of earlier earthenware moulds, whilst others took advantage of pressed glass production techniques to produce fun animals such as rabbits, tortoises and dogs.
We love the vintage bunny moulds, particularly the baby ones ! You can produce an entire family by buying the medium and large ones as well. Absolutely terrific for a children's party, but we never needed an excuse !
