Yellow Daisy
Daisy was Taunton Vale's signature design. The psychadelic flowers, the vibrant colours and the curvacious shapes made them as sixties as Mary Quant.
Produced in four colourways: Orange, yellow and light and dark blue they took 1960s hand-painted ceramics several notches higher. Known best for the chunky storage jars with the bulbous lids, the range incorporated everything from rolling pins to flour dredgers and cheese dishes.
The late sixties saw melamine introduced into kitchens and this enabled them to produce any number of racks and boards. Textiles started with tea towels and progressed to aprons, tea cosies and shopping bags.
