Twintone Tableware
Poole Twintone is a timeless classic, best loved by those who have opted for a simple mid-century look.
In production for 40 years, the most common colour combinations were Sepia and Mushroom and Ice Green and Seagull. Three other colours were around in the forties, but it wasn't until a decade later that more colours were added. Colour combinations were experimented with, but the Peach Bloom pairings were only successful with Seagull. The late fifties saw Lime Yellow, greys and a very striking Sweetcorn and Brazil.
Shapes varied, too. Modernist Streamline was designed in the thirties, whilst the overstated spouts and knobs of Contour arrived in the sixties.
We also have decorative pieces to match the tableware.
