Colourware vivid
Sensing a change in mood amongst consumer tastes, Pyrex revamped the pastel shades of their Colourware to bright vibrant colours.
There seemed to be little change in the design of plates and bowls, but the sheer depth of colour from the red, yellow and blue lifted the range from the post-war era to the decade of hope and greater prosperity.
The emerald green seems very rare and may only have been made for the American market.
