Sand & brown

Lovatts Pottery was linked to both Langley and Denby during its existence and the similarity in its style to both is apparent. In fact there are pieces which are actually stamped Lovatts Langley !

We particularly love the brown measuring jug and although the colour is very similar to Denby brown, very little of it seems to have been produced.

Much the same can be said for the sand, but look carefully at the little egg cup. It is identical to the ones produced by Denby, making you wonder just which factory produced it !
