Homestead Brown
Homestead Brown was the new kid on the block when Denby resumed post-war production in 1953. It used a much darker brown glaze than the Bourne Brown with a striking, contrasting blue inside.
It was produced in the familiar round shapes but did not have the depth of range of Manor Green. And unlike the other plain ranges of the time, some of its plates and egg cups were also produced in blue, like the insides of the hollow ware.
